In this unique wedding, Dimitris and Xanthippi celebrated their love in a traditional yet
lively way! Their wedding, which took place on a June afternoon at Agios Georgios in
Anhialos, Greece, had it all: joy, emotion, and countless moments we will cherish forever.
The preparations started early in the morning at both homes, with much fun and, of
course… lots of drinks! At the groom’s house, his friends performed the traditional shaving
ritual, accompanied by a small celebration with spirited dancing just before heading to the
church. Gunshots fired from the balcony set the tone for the day.
The bride was stunning and exceptionally elegant, arriving at the church in a carriage.
After the ceremony, the couple gifted their guests with a magical, romantic moment,
capturing photos at sunset on the beach of Nea Anhialos, where the scenery perfectly
complemented their happiness.
The reception at the Papathanassiou/Timblalexis Estate was unforgettable. The traditional
orchestra kept the rhythm alive, with guests dancing non-stop, while the DJ took over and
lifted the mood to new heights… until the early hours! The dancing, laughter, and joy were
endless, creating memories that will last forever.
